MAC User Note: The ExpressCard 34 requires a driver to run properly in the MAC environment. The Leopard and Snow Leopard Operating Systems Do not have the drivers built into the Operating Systems yet as the Express Port technology is still very new. The driver for the MAC can be found above. Once the driver is installed, please be aware that many of the Photo Programs may cause a kernel panic when retrieving the photos from the flash card directly, again because the technology is very new. Untill everything catches up you may have to copy the photo folder from the flash card and paste it into the desktop and then use the photo program of choice to acquire the photos from the folder on your desktop. When ejecting the flash card it then may be necessary to power off the adapter. After dragging the removable drive icon to the trash (EJECT), select the ExpressCard icon next to the clock and choose Power Off Card. You can then safely remove the adapter from your system. |
